The Lance Morton Family - Pt. Loma

Point_Loma_air_photo.jpg

Way back from the early -mid 1960s the Millers and the Mortons spent a lot of fun time together, both on land and sea adventures. We were neighbors as well as buddies in many activities. Marianne and Gregg were born @ 5 weeks apart; big sisters Teri and Michelle, born 4 days apart; Ronny was king of the jungle!
Marianne was full of joy and enthusiasm for whatever the plan-of-the-day was, and mostly it was centered around "water." Her skills in sailing, rowing, water skiing, windsurfing, could match any of the boys'. Her summer job teaching young kids sailing at SDYC was commendable. She was always the "star" but always humble. Her attitude of enthusiasm, optimism, generosity and kindness defined  Mar.

Just 6mos ago she heard I was going to Maui with Michelle and family, and she insisted we go for lunch at The Mill House, and that the 3 teens with us take the Zipline, and she even arranged it and "hosted" it!. This was a highlight of our vacation!

Looking at her photo in Carmel, at the top of the homepage, Marianne is looking me in the eye, and I'm smiling at her and saying "You are forever beautiful in Spirit and in flesh... Good times recorded in our memories...You were a Blessing to all who knew you, dearest Marianne. Peace be with you in Eternity.”

Our Love,

The Lance Morton Family...
